Meta launches AI image generation model to connect to chatbots and Instagram
Meta Platforms Inc. Released a new image-generating artificial intelligence (AI) model, the first such model since the company spent billions to rebuild its AI lab a year ago and appointed Alexandr Wang as chief AI officer. Users can also generate pictures containing their images based on public Instagram posts of friends or creators, which is one of Meta's efforts to improve the platform's personalized experience. According to the blog post, users who don’t want others to “reuse or adapt” their content with AI can choose to turn it off in the settings menu.
