Nikkei likely to rise, tracking Wall Street's gains
Japanese stocks are likely to rise, tracking overnight gains on Wall Street. Fears of a renewed all-out conflict between the United States and Iran appear to have receded, fueling investor interest in risk assets. Nikkei futures on the Singapore Exchange opened 1,100 points higher at 69,000 points. The Nikkei closed up 1.4% on Thursday at 67,743.85 points.
