Apple sues Open AI for stealing secrets? Musk mocks: Altman takes "fraud" to a new level.

After the legal dispute between Apple and OpenAI, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's "old enemy" and SpaceX and Tesla CEO Musk also quickly joined the "battlefield" and launched a fierce "verbal attack" on Altman, accusing the latter of taking "fraud to a new level." Musk and Altman "quarreled" over the air On Sunday, Eastern Time, just after Apple launched a legal

prosecution against OpenAI, Musk immediately posted a post on the X platform and mocked that Altman "takes scamming to a whole new level." Altman shot back, "Dude, you're the one selling short-term space data centers to public market investors," referring to SpaceX's plan to launch space-based data centers as an alternative to ground-based solutions.

Musk immediately fired back, saying that the company would begin testing these data centers next year, and "if your parole officer approves, maybe you can come and see for yourself." He also bluntly accused: "After stealing open source AI charity projects, you stole all of Apple's mobile phone technology! Wow, what is your next plan?

It is difficult to be surpassed now." Musk and Altman have a long-standing feud: In 2015, Musk, Altman and others co-founded OpenAI, and Musk later left the company in 2018. Musk later filed a lawsuit against current OpenAI executives and lost.

In the lawsuit, Musk alleged that Altman and others deceived him into donating to the company under the mistaken belief that it would remain a nonprofit.

OpenAI sued by Apple Last Friday, Eastern Time, Apple filed a document with the court, disclosing its lawsuit against OpenAI, accusing "OpenAI and its associates of continuing to engage in organized misconduct at the institutional level." Apple alleges in the lawsuit that OpenAI hardware chief Tang Tan, a former Apple vice president of product design, and

current OpenAI employee Chang Liu, a former Apple electrical engineer, conspired to steal Apple information to help OpenAI develop its own artificial intelligence devices. According to the indictment, Tang Tan emailed himself information about Apple suppliers before leaving Apple and joining OpenAI.

He was also accused of requiring potential OpenAI candidates still at Apple to bring "physical parts" to interviews for "show and tell" sessions.

The lawsuit points out that other former Apple employees similarly sent confidential Apple information to their private mailboxes after joining OpenAI; while others used Apple trade secrets in their possession to assist OpenAI in developing its artificial intelligence hardware devices. Apple said OpenAI currently employs more than 400 former Apple employees.

An OpenAI spokesperson told the media: "We have no interest in other companies' trade secrets. We are always focused on developing innovative technologies to empower everyone around the world." (
