Fujitsu launches AI-driven modernization services to help transform legacy systems
Fujitsu announced on Tuesday the launch of a new AI-driven modernization service designed to help enterprises accelerate the transformation of their aging IT systems. This service deeply integrates artificial intelligence technology into key aspects such as system analysis and code conversion to improve the efficiency and accuracy of traditional transformation projects. This new service addresses the common "legacy system" challenges faced by enterprises. Although these systems are old and outdated, they are difficult to directly replace because they carry core business. Fujitsu's method is to use AI to intelligently scan and analyze huge existing codes, help the development team understand the system structure, and automatically generate a code framework that adapts to the new environment. This move is expected to reduce project risks and ease reliance on senior technical experts. As Japan's leading IT services company, Fujitsu has revenue of 350.29 billion yen in fiscal year 2025 and approximately 99,000 employees worldwide. It continues to invest in technology in the fields of AI and sustainable development.
