Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose nearly 3%
The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index U.S. stocks rose by 4% in early trading, but now the increase has fallen back to nearly 3%. AMD rose by more than 5%, Micron Technology rose by more than 4%, Intel and ASML rose by more than 3%, and Qualcomm rose by 1.5%.
