Ceragon wins $3.4 million managed services contract with Mexican mobile operator
Ceragon Networks, a provider of wireless backhaul solutions, announced that it has signed a two-year managed services contract with a large Mexican mobile operator, with a total contract value of approximately US$3.4 million. Ceragon will provide the operator with comprehensive network management services covering its nationwide wireless backhaul network. According to the agreement, Ceragon will be responsible for operating and maintaining the operator's wireless backhaul network to ensure its stable and efficient operation. Wireless backhaul is a key component of mobile communication networks, responsible for backhauling base station data to the core network. With the development of 5G networks, the demand for high-capacity and low-latency backhaul is growing day by day, and the importance of professional management services has become increasingly prominent. Ceragon has more than 460 service provider customers in wireless backhaul and operates in more than 130 countries. This cooperation comes at a time when the Mexican telecommunications market is developing rapidly. As the second largest economy in Latin America, Mexico has a population of approximately 131 million. The mobile communications market has strong demand and network infrastructure upgrades continue. Ceragon will use its service experience in the Latin American market to assist local operators in optimizing network performance and improving service quality.
