Kaplan partners with CAIA to improve alternative investment education for financial practitioners
Kaplan, a global education institution, and the CAIA Association, a leading organization in alternative investment education and certification, announced a partnership to help more financial practitioners obtain CAIA.nxt certificates and micro-credentials. This collaboration expands the coverage of CAIA.nxt’s educational resources through Kaplan’s global network of learners, helping more financial practitioners build professional capabilities in the $25 trillion alternative investment market. CAIA.nxt, the CAIA Association's online learning platform, provides hands-on education and certification in alternative investments, helping wealth management and investment management professionals gain the knowledge they need to navigate this increasingly important area of investment. Steve Novakovic, managing director of education programs at the CAIA Association, said that as private markets and alternative investments continue to develop, practitioners need education that can help them confidently apply new ideas. CAIA.nxt meets this need through practitioner-led learning that is flexible and suitable for full-time work. Derek Burkett, vice president of Kaplan Schweser, pointed out that in an increasingly complex financial environment, practitioners need not only basic knowledge, but also adaptability and expertise to stay competitive. He said the partnership is an extension of Kaplan’s efforts to ensure learners are not only prepared for the current market but also advance their future careers through high-impact credentials. As part of the partnership, Kaplan students receive a 10% discount when registering. This certificate program is primarily intended for professionals in the wealth management and investment management fields. The CAIA Association is an authoritative organization in the field of global alternative investment education, and its CAIA charter certification is a globally recognized professional standard for alternative investments.
