In late trading in New York on Tuesday (July 21), the U.S. 10-year Treasury bond yield rose 3.44 basis points to 4.6261%. Amid an accelerating rise, it hit a daily high of 4.6382% at 21:44 Beijing time. The two-year U.S. Treasury yield rose 5.51 basis points to 4.2573%; the 30-year U.S. Treasury yield rose 1.56 basis points to 5.1281%. The 2/10-year U.S. Treasury yield spread fell 1.890 basis points to +36.246 basis points. The yield on 10-year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) rose 2.93 basis points to 2.3461%; the yield on two-year TIPS rose 4.37 basis points to 2.3137%; and the yield on 30-year TIPS rose 0.98 basis points to 2.9254%.
