Tesla’s second-quarter revenue increased 26% year-on-year, with global deliveries exceeding 480,000 vehicles.

On July 23, Tesla released its second quarter financial report for 2026.

During the reporting period, the company achieved revenue of US$28.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of 26%; the global production of pure electric vehicles exceeded 451,000 units, a year-on-year increase of approximately 10%, and the delivery volume exceeded 480,000 units, a year-on-year increase of approximately 25%.

Looking at regions, Tesla's second-quarter deliveries in the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe, the Middle East and Africa markets increased by 60%, 27% and 12% respectively from the previous quarter. As of the end of the second quarter, the company's backlog of orders reached its highest level since 2023.

In the Chinese market, Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory delivered more than 89,000 electric vehicles in June, a year-on-year increase of 24.4%, setting a new high for the year; a total of nearly 468,000 vehicles were delivered in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 28.4%.

The six-seater SUV Model Y L, designed, developed and manufactured by a Chinese team, has successively entered the United States, South Korea, Japan, Australia and other markets.

In terms of artificial intelligence business, Tesla disclosed that as of the end of the second quarter, the company's global paid users of assisted driving reached 1.48 million, and more than half of new cars in the North American market subscribed to assisted driving at the time of delivery.

At the same time, Cybercab has been put into production at the Texas Gigafactory. The driverless online ride-hailing service without safety personnel has covered 7 cities in the United States, with a cumulative service mileage of 600,000 kilometers.

Tesla said it will continue to promote the construction of infrastructure and artificial intelligence software in the second half of the year to provide support for the expansion of its electric vehicles, driverless online ride-hailing and humanoid robot businesses.
