QuidelOrtho Corporation (Nasdaq: QDEL), a provider of diagnostic solutions, announced that it will release financial results for the second quarter ended June 28, 2026 after the U.S. stock market closes on August 6. After the results are released, the company will hold a live webcast meeting at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time that day to discuss the financial results. QuidelOrtho is a leading global provider of diagnostic solutions covering clinical chemistry, immunoassays, immunohematology and molecular testing. The company's last quarter results showed that revenue was US$619.8 million, a year-on-year decrease of 10.5%, and a net loss of US$91.8 million. When the company announced its first-quarter results in May, it updated its full-year guidance for 2026: full-year revenue is expected to be between $2.7 billion and $2.75 billion, adjusted EBITDA is between $615 million and $630 million, adjusted earnings per share is between $0.80 and $2.00, and free cash flow is between $100 million and $120 million. Management said in the conference call that second-quarter results are expected to be flat quarter-on-quarter, but core business will achieve year-on-year growth and stronger performance in the second half to support full-year targets. For the second quarter, analysts on average expected revenue of about $621 million, and the market had different views on earnings per share expectations. The focus of the market is on the growth trend of the company's non-respiratory diagnostics business and the integration progress of the LEX Diagnostics acquisition.
