NVIDIA announced that it has launched an AI plan with a scale of more than 500 billion US dollars with South Korea's SK Group, covering large-scale AI data centers and next-generation memory cooperation.

NVIDIA announced that it has launched an AI plan with a scale of more than 500 billion US dollars with South Korea's SK Group, covering large-scale AI data centers and next-generation memory cooperation.

The plan includes reaching a long-term cooperation with SK Hynix to ensure Nvidia’s next-generation memory supply and jointly develop high-bandwidth memory for AI training, AI agents and physical AI applications.

As part of the plan, SK Telecom plans to build a 2 GW AI data center in South Korea, powered by NVIDIA Vera Rubin chips and SK Hynix HBM4 high-bandwidth memory. The first facility is expected to be put into operation in 2027. In addition, Nvidia said it will work with Naver and Brookfield to expand Naver’s AI data center in South Korea.
