Among popular Chinese concept stocks, Ideal initially closed up 4.9%, Atour rose 4.5%, NetEase rose 3%, Xiaomi rose 2.3%, New Oriental rose 1.7%, Pinduoduo and Tencent rose 1%, Alibaba rose 0.3%, Baidu fell 0.3%, and ASE Semiconductor fell 7%. Among ETFs, the China Internet Index ETF (KWEB) closed up 1.15%, and the China Technology Index ETF (CQQQ) closed down 2.41%. Deutsche Bank Harvest CSI 300 Index ETF (ASHR) closed down 2.39%, MSCI Emerging Markets ex China ETF (EMXC) closed down 2.46%, and Xtrackers Harvest CSI 50 (ASHS) closed down 2.62%.
