Robinhood’s second-quarter revenue, EBITDA, crypto income and ARPU all beat estimates
“Retail trading platform” Robinhood reported second-quarter net revenue of $1.31 billion, above analysts’ estimate of $1.28 billion. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $741 million, compared with analysts’ expectation of $628.9 million. Cryptocurrency revenue came in at $100 million, versus the consensus estimate of $86.6 million. ARPU was $187, compared with analysts’ forecast of $186.09. Options revenue totaled $342 million, above the expected $338.4 million. The company expects full-year total expenses of $2.68 billion to $2.78 billion, compared with analysts’ estimate of $2.95 billion.
