Microsoft says data-center lease commitments rose by more than $130 billion in the past quarter
Microsoft said it added more than $130 billion in data center lease contracts in the past quarter, indicating that its spending pace on AI infrastructure is accelerating. In a regulatory filing, Microsoft said that as of June 30, the company’s total lease commitments not yet underway for the fiscal quarter reached $329.1 billion, a sharp increase from $196.6 billion in the prior quarter.
