Gold Rebounds in New York; Silver and Copper Also Rise
On Thursday, July 30, at the New York close, spot gold rose 0.81% to $4,100.34/oz, showing an overall V-shaped reversal. It hit an intraday low of $4,028.55 at 13:38 Beijing time. COMEX gold futures rose 1.68% to $4,166/oz. Spot silver gained 2.07% to $58.9336/oz, after touching an intraday low of $56.9360 at 16:00. COMEX silver futures rose 2.12% to $59.320/oz. COMEX copper futures climbed 2.90% to $6.4950/lb, continuing to rise since the start of the Asia-Pacific session. Spot platinum rose 2.48%, and spot palladium gained 4.27%.
