Equinix raises $3 billion in investment-grade bonds as debt markets cool
Equinix Inc. sold $3 billion of U.S. investment-grade bonds, raising funds in a debt market that has cooled recently amid the artificial intelligence boom. The company priced the notes in four parts with maturities ranging from three to 10 years, and the longest-dated tranche carried a spread of 1.2 percentage points above Treasuries. Proceeds from the bond sale will be used for real estate and business acquisitions, development opportunities and other corporate purposes, including debt repayment.
