Stellantis to Recall About 1.27 Million Ram 1500 Pickup Trucks in U.S.

Stellantis, Chrysler’s parent company, said Friday that it will voluntarily recall about 1.27 million Ram 1500 pickup trucks in the United States to address a seat-belt anchorage issue.

The company said the seat-belt buckle anchor for the second-row center or second-row driver-side seat in some Ram 1500 models may not be properly secured to the vehicle’s body structure. This could increase the risk of occupant injury in certain crashes.

Stellantis will notify owners of affected vehicles and instruct them to contact dealers to arrange an inspection. Stellantis reported sales of 204,139 Ram 1500 pickup trucks in 2025, compared with 187,013 in 2024. Sales totaled 125,522 in the first half of 2026.
