The vaccine maker reported earnings of $1.97 per share, below the $2.03-per-share expectation from analysts surveyed by FactSet.

Quarterly revenue was $145 million, exceeding the consensus estimate of $102.9 million. Moderna also said it plans to reduce its 2026 drug research and development spending from its previous expectation.
