Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index rises 0.77% as China-focused ETFs extend weekly gains.

The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index rose 0.77% to 6,620.75 on Friday, gaining 0.34% for the week as it continued to test its 100-day moving average, which had moved down to 6,569.75. Among popular U.S.-listed Chinese stocks, Zai Lab initially closed up 12.2%, Daqo New Energy rose 8.8%, JinkoSolar gained 6%, and VNET Group advanced 5%.

Tencent rose 1.8%, while PDD Holdings and Alibaba gained more than 1%. ASE Technology was roughly flat. The Xtrackers Harvest CSI 50 ETF (ASHS) rose 2.76% and gained 7.28% for the week, after rebounding 0.27% and 0.05% in the two previous weeks, respectively.

The China technology index ETF (CQQQ) rose 1.72% and gained 5.53% for the week, extending its 0.84% rebound from the previous week. The Deutsche Bank Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares ETF (ASHR) rose 1.18% and rebounded 2.69% for the week.

The KraneShares CSI China Internet ETF (KWEB) rose 0.99% and gained 0.60% for the week, extending its 8.37% advance from the previous week. On its weekly chart, it has continued to rebound since early July. The MSCI Emerging Markets ex China ETF (EMXC) rose 0.83% and gained 2.82% for the week.
