U.S. Stocks End Higher; S&P 500 Sets Another Record Close
U.S. stocks finished higher, with all three major indexes advancing. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.28%, the S&P 500 gained 0.62% and the Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.3%. The S&P 500 also posted another record close. Optical communications stocks rallied sharply. Coherent rose more than 13%, Credo gained more than 8%, Lumentum advanced more than 6%, Corning climbed more than 5% and Marvell Technology rose more than 3%.
