CME, Silicon Data Set Oct. 5 Launch for GPU Compute Futures, Pending Approval
CME and Silicon Data have set Oct. 5 as the launch date for GPU compute futures, pending regulatory approval. The two contracts are the Silicon Data H100 Rental Index futures and the Silicon Data B200 Rental Index futures. They will track indexes measuring the hourly rental cost of GPUs. The new contracts will be listed on CME and governed by New York Mercantile Exchange, or NYMEX, rules. They will take effect after regulatory approval.
