U.S. stocks opened mixed on Aug. 11. The S&P 500 rose 14.40 points, or 0.19%, to 7,767.51, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 14.38 points, or 0.03%, to 53,961.60. The Nasdaq Composite gained 66.82 points, or 0.25%, to 26,672.17.
