Bitcoin and major crypto indexes fall as Asia-Pacific trading weakens
Over the past 24 hours, the MarketVector™ Digital Asset 100 Small Cap Index fell 0.43% to 2,072.69. It edged up to 2,090.82 at 6:14 a.m. Beijing time, setting the day’s high, before falling rapidly and reaching the day’s low of 2,052.06 at 8 a.m. The MarketVector™ Digital Asset 100 Mid Cap Index fell 1.99% to 2,307.89, with significant declines from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and since 8 p.m. The MarketVector Digital Asset 100 Index fell 0.48% to 2,071.68 and dropped sharply at the start of the Asia-Pacific session. Solana fell 1.97%, Dogecoin fell 1.21% and XRP fell 2.12%. Bitcoin fell 1.99% to $63,856.21 after holding roughly around $65,100 from the start of the Asia-Pacific session through 8 p.m. before continuing lower. Ethereum fell 2.61% to $1,870.49, following a similar pattern to Bitcoin.
